A Safe Place Poem by cheryl davis miller

A Safe Place

Rating: 4.5

'The birds all have a nest,
the fox each have a den,
I've found no place to rest',
declared the Son of Men.

I sure can understand
the words our Master said.
Shelter for my soul
a place to lay my head.

Yet one thing I can see
and it's forever true.
Always; He is with me
and He'll be there for you.

From peaceful point of view
look up and trust in God.
He'll make a way for you
on ev'ry path you trod.

Forever and a day
He's sworn to care for you.
Rejoice along the way
'neath azure skies of blue.
