A Ring Of Endless Light Poem by Jessica Kissner

A Ring Of Endless Light

Rating: 2.9

I look around and see light
Cricling me around and around,
I dare not move for I wish I could
Stay here forever in the middle of
A ring of endless light

Dolphins come to swim with me
in the middle of the light
Loving, caring, they call to me
I close my eyes and listen
to the tales that they tell
but when I open my eyes I see
I'm alone in the middle of
A ring of endless light

Is this poem inspired by Madeline L'Engle's novel, A Ring of Endless Light? That's my favorite book, and it definitely comes to mind immediately reading this poem.
