A reply in 3 step to Gershon Hepner's own Waltz
I love like
Richard Strauss
waltzing a
Kavalier
But I make
so many
faults I find
when I dance
far too near
partners and
tread on toes
when I try
three-timing,
nor do I
mend their woes
by my plea
that I rhyme;
Oktavian
I am not,
I fear I'm
more like the
Baron Ochs
and next time
I waltz I
won't go near
you sans socks.

Caught myself counting one, two. three, one, two, three, and loving it. Don't think I ever saw a poem written in waltz time. Linda.
