A rainbow after the rain
Comes to take away the pain
The pain you felt inside
That takes time to subside

You always felt loneliness and emptiness
When it should be true happiness
But as time passes by
I know a friend will come by

A friend may come your way
To help you make your day
That even when you're asleep
Will be a memory the friend would keep

Together you will make new memories
A friendship that knows no boundaries
That even from a great wave of pain
Is a rainbow after the rain
