A Radical Difference Poem by Donal Mahoney

A Radical Difference

The two religions differ
in a number of ways
Insha'Allah! Alleluia!
There's a radical difference
especially in their martyrs.

A young man at an airport
blows himself up and believes
he'll land in paradise
surrounded by virgins.
Insha'Allah!

An old priest saying Mass
in a country church has
his throat slit and believes
he'll finally meet God.
Allelulia!

The two religions differ
in a number of ways
Insha'Allah! Alleluia!
There's a radical difference
especially in their martyrs.
