blood streaming down my arm
tears staining the pillow
its finally over
im safe from doing you any harm
i promised not to hurt you
so instead i do it to myself
a promise is a promise
and i'm sticking by my word
i wont hurt you
after all i did promise
i tried to make you understand
the pain wasn't your fault
in me is something broken
and its broken beyond repair
nothing can fix it
nothing can ever fix me
not even you
