A Prisoner Poem by Mandy rachelle

A Prisoner

A prisoner
Summer ends
And prison begins
A march to learn, by torture
Books weigh down
Gossip makes its rounds
And somebody just got dumped
Monotonous tones
Continually drown
As the wardens stand at the front
Barred windows, locked doors
No way of escape, no where to run
The cameras are on and the police patrol
Strict policies to follow,
Dress codes to attend
Homework, around every bend
God help us all
Were in a prison that never ends,
SCHOOL! !
