A Princely Reply Poem by Margaret Alice

Air-conditioning off, sent email to Lourens
complaining of suffering in Kingsley Centre
open-plan office Purgatory

Please save the damsels in distress -
Hermien also emailed to this effect, a
sober request for cooler air

I received a princely reply; Lourens said
he had stormed the devil already and
clubbed him to death

Cooler air would soon waft us back to
paradise; while Hermien got her sober
reply, problem noted, matter reported

Trust all shall be fixed soon enough…
