A Prayer Of A Nobody Poem by Yehoshua Shim'onai

A Prayer Of A Nobody

Rating: 5.0

and I saw nothing;

I looked back to Jesus
and I saw everything,

then I cried, 'Lord, I am all nothing;
so please be my everything! '

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Written as a complimentary comment to a post with the C.S. Lewis quote,

“As long as you are proud you cannot know God. A proud man is always looking down on thing and people: and, of course, as long as you are looking down you cannot see something that is above you.”
