A Prayer In Paper Poem by venessa ambrose

A Prayer In Paper

Rating: 5.0

The chains are holding me down,
They are making me drown,
Yet all I can do is pray,
My tiny little notes to God,
The river is rising to the top,
And the weight is much,
Dear lord,
I think I can't hold all,
My rope is on the line,
A dropp is all I can see,
Even if you hear me not,
Save me from this doom,
Find me a new room,
A place to change Me,
And start anew.
