A Prayer Away Poem by David Harris

A Prayer Away

Rating: 5.0

The world is full of troubles;
a lot of them are in the mind.
Worries of every kind,
which mar our waking day.
Who will listen to us,
with everything we have to say.
There is someone,
we can talk about our worries to.
They will not condemn us,
nor make us feel guilty for things we do.
We can talk to them at anytime,
come night or day,
because they are only a prayer away.

Footprints in the sand, comes to my mind...I like the way you lead up to this most credible panacea to our need to vent, and feel someone is there listening, and in this case, with the ability to help you seek out answers to your troubled mind. Great Work, David! FjR

Only a prayer away, wonderfully stated, I know my Father in heaven is always there and it is He that I confide in and tell my troubles too. Thankyou David, this is truly a blessed message.--Melvina--.
