A Portrait Of Eden Poem by Ali Ashjaee

A Portrait Of Eden

The rhythmic rattles of the river
Flowing so fast, flaring with fever
Singing a serene song and sailed
Within the winds wound and whirled

Amongst forest breast down the crest
Whilst dressed a green vest, doing dance fest
Likewise the leas entrancing through the breeze
Stroking the leaves prancing above the trees

Shaking with delight, by the flowers white
Shining bright, below the powers of light
Within the dews laid upon foliage’s hands
Which enlivens the soul of slumbered lands

As the golden orb climbs up the ocean
With her ethereal grandeur and emotion
Whence the aflame ocean fused the firmament
Thence the flakes of clouds form an ornament

Is a portrait of order goes around
Amid Eden where all beauties’ve been bound
