! A Poets Mind Poem by Bob Blackwell

! A Poets Mind

Rating: 3.0

In a poets mind,
silence has stopped chatter,
traffic noise, childish play.

A hum from a distance sings,
words begin to congregate.

Choosing nouns, verbs and
adjectives, words collected
from the gentle light…..

Lines of tenderness and love
merge into a lovers pledge.

Music for her mind,
sonnet of love and promise
to adore forevermore.

A POET'S MIND IS TRUELY AN EXTRAORDINARY PLACE! IT HAS LOVE OF NATURE, MUSIC OF LIFE, AND PROMISES OF A BETTER DAY! IN CONTRAST, HIS DAILY LIFE COULD BE RATHER ORDINARY! YET HE EXPRESSES HIMSELF IN A LANGUAGE WHICH IS EXTRORDINARY! ! ! 10 + -Raj

I can see how well you work with your mind and intuition. A hum, a gentle light and the pen starts flowing with love.....10 Karin Anderson
