A Poet's Note Five (Lago Piva) Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

A Poet's Note Five (Lago Piva)

Rating: 5.0

(dedicated to Mr. Lee Crowell, a great poet at poemhunter)

I was driving back down the valley of creativity
I passed a long line of little boys, little girls
who were wearing bright colorful gowns
dancing around the bluish lake of hope

I was contemplating all joys
and demand of being a creature
what am I thinking about and feeling?
just relax and breathe the youthful spirit

I loved watching
how poems brought out
another side of those young souls
they were often really quiet and shy

I am so proud of you all
I have never been around
a group of fresh spirits who hear
so intensely the voices of the poets

I know you all will open
the gate of the future poetry
surely invite all sparks and charms
and happiness to our beloved hearts

Ahmad your kindness is only overshadowed by your talent. Thanks for the dedication, and let's all remember that poemhunter is the vehicle that gathers this wonderful, crazy group to share and inspire each other. Life was pretty boring until I stumbled into this cyber garden a few months back.
