A Poem That's So Cliché Poem by Nichole Kaci McKnight

A Poem That's So Cliché

Rating: 4.5

They say every dog has its day.
I think clichés are that way.
A good cliché is like a blast from the past.
A half-baked idea can be a blast.
A good rule of thumb about all clichés, my dear.
That comming up with a cliché can be a pain in the rear.
A good salesman knows the art of the deal.
I say a cliché is a necessary evil, that's for real.
A cliché can even have mass appeal.
A great cliché is built to last.
You can never top a cliché from the past.
They say clichés are a cheap knock off.
Some clichés can even make us scoff.
