A Poem's Nucleus Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

A Poem's Nucleus

Thoughts at random is just a rant
Like stones thrown about quite freely,
Formless but they can strike where you want
Yet the hit is done rather weakly.

Words to impact, must be solid-
Lines conveyed may carry some length,
Structures the reading mind may feed,
With a touch of feeling, joy, or strength.

Such is what one calls the Breadth
Of thorough seeking Inspiration,
The Essence that readers will not forget
And the very core of a composition.
