A POEM NEEDS SILENCE TO HEAR ITSELF BE HEARD

A poem needs silence to hear itself be heard
Background clutter destroys the holy word.
Let the music play elsewhere,
Let the talkers aloud outside,
A poem needs silence
To hear itself inside.
