A Pisces In Paris Poem by Darren John Rae

A Pisces In Paris

Rating: 5.0

Walking in song, summer sings in winters worry. Spring is sorry and Autumn is lonely.
Break a zodiac and clear the border. Searching for the place of romance without authority.
Dressed to impress with ambience creating freedom in a secluded portion of perfect Paris.
The crowds and noise are fine given time. The art is matching with mystique for killer chic.
Neptune has wrapped the energy fuelling an idealistic imagination, calling on infarction.
Stripping the obvious and finding the ridiculous, lashed with waves of water to dream in,
Resonating relationships that spiral in spiritual compassion.
Swimming in opposites, drenched in ambition and diving unhealthily into
Impracticality. Forging forward to seek dark in La Ville-Lumiere.
Notre Dame holds beauty from the 12th century, with callous clogging
On the smile of Mona Lisa.
Oddly deceiving, quintessentially quiet and atmospheric.
Reversing in resilience, swarming around saints, kissing sinners and groping the great.
Sling the tantrum and fear the order. Preaching for a space to embrace without being led.
Patience in Paris embroidered with affection. Altruism is nature. Ruin not what breathes.
Coat the teeth in pearl, have a rich smile and escape into confinement within. Jotting sin.
Charisma killed the clown, hug magenta with green and red for luck. Bite deep into a lip.
Covering the harsh and finding the beautiful, craving wings to stay in the air to fly in,
Before balance is sought, embarrass eruptions on the soul.
Lawyer the comfort, dry the draft and follow the quaint healthily into
Desirability. Hoarding homage to float or sink in the Seine river.
Montmartre, the highest point, observe the scope and adore, with haste.
On the purity of Sacre-Coeur.
Obviously deliberate, essentially understated and peaceful.
