A Permanent Mark Poem by Radhika Karia

A Permanent Mark

Rating: 5.0

The lust in your eyes told me you wanted me;
The distance, the time, away from you haunted me.

I came to you with all the love I had stored for you;
All the risks and dangers I could afford for you.

The nights we made love with hunger and sweat;
Nothing more could I ask, nothing more could I get.

I can't forget the times when your lips met mine;
Whether it was due to beer or a love line.

Your body fit mine, Oh! so perfect;
And how each time we danced to a tune without a deck.

Oh! Devil of my heart, u created such a spark;
That now you've left another memory as a permanent mark.
