A Pause In Time Poem by Nivedita Patnaik

A Pause In Time

Rating: 4.0

12-Myriads of memories gushing
ashore...holding on to them
sleazy...they wash away...
damp as a freshly - paused sob
tangible... fragile..
A tint of rainbow hovers down the bustling lanes of mind
relishing an unskilled- adoration...
A moon-washed nightfall rollicking a lover's paradise...
A soft lullaby on the wings of slumber...
A beam of gladdened-glee...
A constant friend yielding to absurd-plea...
A juvenile dawn beckoning millions of assurance...
....
Alas! ! ! they are gone...consumed in a diabolical - time...
They still ransack the heart with sporadic- stop-by...
