A Paradox Poem by Scott McQueen

A Paradox

My mind is stuck on yesterday
And the day before
My happiness is fading
But I love her ever more

Her grace is like a firefly
Dancing in the Moon
Her beauty is so bountiful
Like rain in a monsoon

But I'm too slow to catch a fly
And I do not fancy rain
How could what I love so much
Bring me so much pain
