A Pang I Suffer Poem by Abdul Wahab

A Pang I Suffer

A pang I suffer in my heart often
as I do not understand what do
you mean when you say I love
you as I differ from you in
perspectives of things and
you are driven by your basic
instincts and I am by mine but
wonder lies not in this similarity
but in how different they are!
Moreover, when I reciprocated
you did not understand the three
words as they have different
connotations to you and I had mine
and you know, how we fell apart
since then I am in constant pain that
I never become a free man, the more
the time passes the more I become a
faithful slave to my own environment,
a sycophant servant to my faith and
belief, you are to yours, no one is
exception either, I could not come
above and think beyond the images
of the objects I have seen surrounding
myself, the same is with you in this case
we are so different, unhappiness does
not lie here as it belongs to elsewhere
, belongs to our misunderstand and
remember how we misunderstood
each other so in protest I stopped
to understand anything altogether,
say! how dare I to understand your
mind when I do not understand my
own, whom and which once I hated
too much now lovingly I put them on
my neck, what I said and what you
understood so far I did not mean that,
words are words, they fail, they mean
nothing, they aggravate the situation
of misunderstanding between you and
me and among us, bye for now,
no more words!

Fantastic poem, Love and hate are most misunderstood things in life and you explored well in your poem.
