A Nixtes Lixt Poem by Abdelkrim HAYAB

A Nixtes Lixt

hath remember a moment in Aprille soote
hath walked for a distance on one foote
a brother hath poison me for he was slave
feared, rode my feet, came to you to save
hath know nothing, hath see only the fog
hath drop twice and thrice, the poison so strong
poison soote poison as black as the night
poison soote poison’d save me from the light
worry not darling, hurried only to see you wife
hath wait long, finally I depart this life
death soote death that you hath tell is so bad
hath wait, finally i found it in this land
the pain of life was so long and continues
hath push me to sing ‘am i Sisyphus’
