A New Year Dawns Poem by Noah Body

A New Year Dawns

A new year dawns
The old one passes
Amid wild cheers
of screaming masses

Yet I cannot help
The shedding a tear
What's past is gone
The future's unclear

So many have gone by
Now part of history
And what is to come
Is such a mystery

Thanks be for all
Who have touched me
And all yet to come
Whom I cannot foresee

Very touchy description. But a half-empty cup can also be looked as half-full. Namaste!
