A New World Poem by Sandra Feldman

A New World

Give me a New World,
Where wars are non-existent,
Where people are resistant,
To hate, where Love exists.

Give me a New world,
Where Art Appreciation,
Becomes part of a Nation,
Instead of drugs and tricks.

Give me a New World,
Where Truth still has a chance,
Where Tyrants don't exist,
Where Hands are to advance,
A chance for Life, Not missed.

Epilogue:

The United States was once that World,
Where now, Initiative is well deferred,
Where Thoughts, Ideas begin to wilt,
As those in power show no Guilt!

This is great. It's filled with a longing and nostalgia that I think a lot of people today can relate to.
