A New Song Poem by Will Barber

A New Song

Rating: 5.0

My mind moves to a chorus,
My brain moves to a gong.
Sopranos catch subtleties,
Sometimes the basses get it wrong.

And yet, in one brief moment,
A balance may ascend -
One song, one pianist:
Music without end.

I am glad to see this tribute to Robert C. Howard and his music. Unfortunately my computer would not cooperate with my listening to this concerto in its true form. “Music without end” is a very meaningful ending.
