A New Day

The sun peeks out through the clouds
As morning starts the day
The dew on the grass glistens
Like diamonds on display
The moon is still visible
High in the morning sky
The sun will soon shine brightly
As the morning says it's goodbye
By mid-afternoon
The sun is very bright
Another new day, makes it's way
To fill it up with light
