A New Dawn #1 Poem by Heather Burns

A New Dawn #1

Rating: 5.0

Surrounded by yesterdays
aftermath
heavenly aromas lingered
together we penetrated
meadows

Hand in hand through
fields of flowers
took in their savory
nectar
relaxed beside a silent
stream

Captured reflections
dancing in crystal pools
the evening sun descended
then escaped swallowed
by night
a new dawn arose.
