A Needed Break From Children? Poem by Terence G. Craddock (afterglows echoes of starlight)

do parents
or single parents
miss children
when out?

depends if new
or seasoned parents
or parent?

you miss rarely
enjoy mostly
your time alone?

'yes and no
i am tired,
i need

some time
on my own.
otherwise
i miss them'
