A Mother's Day Poem Poem by Neil Stephens

A Mother's Day Poem

A mother's love, what can more truly be said
It is more deeply ingrained than the reddest red
No more righteous truth and such a blessing
It is a bond that grows still beyond her passing

There is no better gift from above
Than to have a mother's evergreen love
Memories fuel my sore need for continuance
Always everlasting with protective persistence

The sincerest trust is formed between
A mother and child like you've never seen
Rivers of love is shared without strain
Traveling through the eddies to the sea again

No one can say I love you more
From the bond that forms from that core
No closer to God's bluest love divine
Is the love between a mother and child you'll find
