A Most Happy Holiday Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

A Most Happy Holiday

Rating: 5.0

Trees sparkling in the night
With angel kisses strung
Tiny and bright.
The reindeer and jolly Santa
Are on the way,
to fill children's stockings
With surprises from Santa Sleigh.

See the bright candles in windows,
Dancing like stars in the night,
Folks sing gleefully about a special
Christmas of white.
Shoppers are loaded with gifts
For that special someone to bring
On a smile,
Gala parties are in the making, and
Mistletoe's a plenty, so come stay
A while!
Blessings for the Baby Jesus on the
Lips and in the hearts of everyone,
Yes, Christ Jesus our Heavenly Father's Son.
