A Morning Song
Let us like birds sing merry song
At the break of dawn,
For are we not each day reawakened
And in a way into the world reborn?
After a night's peaceful rest
If we wake up with zeal and zest,
Who can stop you from taking measured steps
To fulfill your individual quests?
As the sun sends darkness to flight
And makes the day for us bright,
Why not help our less fortunate brethren
And into their darkness like an angel alight?
