A Moment In Time Poem by Karen Lee

A Moment In Time

Rating: 5.0

Today I lock myself away in solitary
My grief amount to my head
The love that I long for is no more
It is now dead

No more friends
I deactivate them
Change my number
I no longer needed them

Hidden from the world
Only a selected few
Those whom I consider true
The others needed not to talk to them
Truly they are not really my friend

I will curl up and now go off to sleep
A thousand years later, maybe I'll wake me up then
A kiss from my love will revive me again
Tell me later, history I'll be then.

Everyone feel like this sometimes but moving on is the best. :)
