A Moment For Venting Poem by Melody Stargaze

A Moment For Venting

Being away from you hurts like nothing I have ever felt before.
Distance is a disease, and you’re the only cure.
Every moment that I’m not next to you,
I’m in need of rescue.

There are only 10 months until we can be free,
But that’s too long for me.
I’m too greedy to wait,
And being away from you is something I hate.

You had me at hello; it was love at first sight,
For a moment, everything was alright.
You caught my attention so fast it’s unreal,
I guess you really are a big deal.

If there was just some way that I could
Find a way to find my peace like I should,
I think I would be able to relax over this,
But I’ve never been in a situation like this.

Believe me when I say that I love you,
I don’t care what anyone says about you.
You have your quirks, but so do I,
That’s why it would kill me to say good-bye.
