'A Moment Before Sins Pain Began' Poem by Linda Winchell

'A Moment Before Sins Pain Began'

Rating: 5.0

Was but a moment before sins' pain began,
Was in a bite of an apple, given to a man.

To eat of this tree of life, was unheard,
God's words given to Adam, but Eve failed not to hear.

Thus sin began to take an evil toll,
Still living in the world today, until Salvation takes its' hold.

To cleanse man that they may see God one day,
Salvation is only but one God's heard prayer away.

'Salvation is only but one God's heard prayer away' Really a nice poetic twist that summarize it all. If you got the time please read my poem 'Early morning darkness', a genesis and redemption story, kind of. / Yours gg
