A Mission Poem by shenika vermaak

Have you ever noticed how much they are always there?
How much you want them to just disappear but then you realize'
Realize how much they mean to you and just how much you love them
Most likely not because they can tend to upset us sometimes
But they wont go away
If they really love you which they most likely do
They will never leave you
They have a certain duty that God has sent them to do
Which means they will never leave your side
They are our guardian angels to watch over us
To make sure we do things right
Yeah, they definitely look like they're in costumes running around
But if you look hard enough then you realize that they truly are not
Their wings are hidden deep inside of them
Their halos are still above them
They wish and hope that you will succeed in everything you do
And it may seem like a tough thing to believe sometimes
But understand what they go through
What they go through to make sure that we can be on a mission
A mission sent by the great heavens above too
So treat them well and treat them fair
'Cause one day we will be on our own mission' so here's a dare A dare that will make you a beautiful angel too'
Try your hardest with all you do and make them proud
