A Misery
So lonely is this life alone
Very painful and pricking is this lonely zone.
None is to stand at your sorrows and pains
No one will share your delights and gains.
It might be very easy to say, in staying alone
But it's a misery for a man to remain forlorn.
We as the human race -
Are known as a social animal
Being void and to stay alone
Is completely abysmal.
It might be very easy to say, in staying alone
But it's a misery for a man to remain forlorn.
Though we all on this earth came alone
And at the end even have to go alone.
But in between a company -
Makes you believe that you are alive.
Living alone is like to be in quarantine,
Is no way better than a vegetable life.
It might be very easy to say, in staying alone
But it's a misery for a man to remain forlorn.

So true its no less than a misery to stay alone. But I prefer to be alone than to be with an unwanted person, to lead a loveless, remorseful life, coz its no more a life, then its like living dead. At least you can hope a bright future. Thanks for sharing.
A life of loneliness is indeed a misery! To have someone to share our joys and cares is such a relief. If you long for company, at any rate, you should seek it, instead of being locked in your loneliness! A poignant write! !

I really liked this poem, but think it would read better if you didn't keep repeating the same line at the end of each verse. It may be easy - saying to stay alone But a misery, in remaining alone. I like the line, but not over and over. You have very good thoughts and a way of expressing them well.
