I sang a song for you today
I'm sure you must have heard
A Melody of Wellness
With hugs in every word

I picked a rose for you today
Its petals fragrant, sweet
A fresh reminder how you'll feel
When you're back on your feet

I took a walk while pondering
The true friend that you are
I wished into the heavens
Till I saw a shining star

I said a prayer for you today
That healing sees you through
That comfort, hope and sweet relief
Will soon be part of you
