A Man Without A Mask

Rating: 4.5

A mask is what I wish to wear
I swear for it is not a dare for I wish it was a dare
I swear I swear I can not bare or wish to care
for I must hide but not what's on the inside for only
the outside for the mask is what I wish to wear....

I really Like what is inside of your words, .... thought provoking yet I have no question of why. For it is one fast, crazy, unpredictable world when we open that front door. Thank you and welcome to PH

He that tears the garment of honour, wears the mask of disgrace. A nice piece of poetry, well penned to capture the conviction of the poet. Thanks for sharing and do keep it up. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
