A Man Who Thought He Was Wise

A man who,
unlike his two predecessors,
gets to where he is
by being wise,
would know
that giving the Speaker's job
to a socialite
who'd soon be 72
would mean she'd need a chopper,
and a travel perk or a few,
to maintain her socialite standing.

Such a man
would have brought that friend
down on purpose;
would be a bad friend.

If he says he didn't know,
we can be assured
he's not wise at all,
and became PM by fraud.

It would seem this story has some time to go. Will tony Abbott sack her? I have my doubts
