A man named Eichen

Andrew Eichen- 9/23/89-9/24/08

Words can't explain the thoughts in my head

The minutes and hours and days in my bed

Who knew this was how the good times would end

It was the saddest day ever, we all lost a friend

You wont ever know when the trouble will rise

You just go about your days and live out your lives

Here we are now wondering, what, where and how,

But the real question is what do we do now?

Although I didn't know him as well as some did

This hits close to home and the hurt still exists,

I saw him just two days before that tragic night

Thinking nothing other and that hed be alright

Well forever remember the days that were shared

With the boy that never judged, always showed that he cared

Andrew will live within us for all the years to come

His love, heart and humor cant ever be done

So from this we learn that this is not the end

Because no matter what you cant lose a friend

This poem is beautiful but very sad. The words that really touched me is " The boy that never judged, always showed that he cared" somehow resonates with the loss of my brother too.

Andrew was my son and I loved him more than words can say! I miss him so much I feel like I will die. Thank you so much for this tribute.
