A Magician Poem by The Gladiator lords Of Love

A Magician

Rating: 5.0

i can fly you to hell
though youre not bad
i may show you heaven
and still make you sad
i can take you to shore
while you never touch a land
you are in a desert
and i am the sand
i`m able to show you
the worst you`ve ever had
however, manage to
make you glad
i tried to dazzle you
so you cannot understand
because in poetry
nothing is banned

yes, this is very good. we are magicians, putting feelings into actual words is a complicated thing to do and for one to do so is considered a magical thing. very good job.

This is excellent, especially for your first attempt - simple, yet effective. i may show you heaven and still make you sad.. I loved this part especially, brilliantly written - can't wait to read more from you! x

a magnificent job for your first poem. very imaginative writing and creative expression. i like the last two lines. because in poetry nothing is banned you have captured a truth in those two short and simple lines. In poetry you can say what you want to sayin many ways, you can be blunt or you can use a metaphor, there are no resrtictions, you can express yourself in any way you choose. it is great outlet for both happy and sad emotions alike. welcome to the world of poetry, great job on your first write. keep on writing and find yourself within your words, my friend. looking forward to reading more and seeing how your writing style grows and develps over time.
