A Lovers Grasp Poem by thaddeus dugan

A Lovers Grasp

Rating: 4.5

If not love then
Why when you smile
Do the tremors sigh within
Until we kiss
Then again, begin
And all the worlds grief
As our hearts draw near
A spring breeze comes as summers relief
Even over time and distance
The longing of your heart I must revere
Although many lovers past
The feelings
Ignoring the tumult, reappear
The sadness of your lovers grasp!
