A Lover's Tears Poem by Chinonso Uche

A Lover's Tears

Rating: 5.0

Tears from my lover's eyes
In silence like a peaceful sky
Gutters on her cosmetic face
What a sincere cry I face

I cannot see, but I can feel
A heavy heart like a giant bull
Bleeding on my lover's chest
I'm terrified, I don't know the rest

If I speak I may not pick
What is there for me to kick
If she wails I will fear less
But no, don't think am careless

But I can still kiss my love
Which is my best way to solve
What brought this ugly tears
On my lover's face I fear
