Love came with a rush
And like a stormy wind
Swept me off my feet
I thought i was going to fly
And soar like the eagles
Dominating the entire sky
Clouded with a rainbow of love
Both suddenly the clouds went dark
And got filled with rain
The rainbow cleared off
Leaving me with nothing
But a dying thirst for love
A love that may never come
No matter the time
Or the season of life
A love so hard to reach
A love too strong to fight
A love too real to be called a dream
A love that is faraway
Even though it seemed close
