A Love's Tale Poem by olayinka samson aremu

A Love's Tale

My mum told me how love is sweet
And tells tales of how it use to be
But now I've run into it
Oh good Lord! It sweeten me
Though Its inanimate
Not seen, yet sees clearly like screen
My mouth can't feel the licking
But it edulcorate
Mixed, milled, fried,
Dried, packed and packaged
Like chin chin's lineage
The joy of a bride
Leave not! The best of virtue
Lest my joy like rain
Stops and endue
Sorrow like sun's harshness/pain
I met a beautiful cherub
Love kept us in a tube
A state of elated bliss
I was raptured by her kiss
Then descended on me
Is the feeling of paradise
What spell you cast on me
Thus I'm mercerised
Got hypnotized
Like the power of sorcery
When Pendragon is paralyzed
And he his saved by a good fairy
Now thou art my good fairy
Whom for the sake of fate
Which made us merry
We thus copulate
Had we more chance
More time to live life
We would do away with strife
But life; soon end like a trance
Your potter is really
What tongue can't tell
He created you ideally
Just like an angel
