A Lonely Traveller Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

A Lonely Traveller

Rating: 5.0

Twists and turns
Once the path was strewn with
Petals, now draped with a bed of thorns
Sorrow and pain
The past was a child's fair and
Present and future seem in utter disdain
Off and on
The tiny star of hope sparkles
Signaling great time after the last turn
Truth and lie
Life makes the balance sheet
As slowly with time body begins to die
