A Lonely Soldier Writes....



I'm just a soldier,
Stuck in this fight.
Dreaming of home,
So alone in the night.

I miss those long walks in the park,
As I wait in this fighting hole, alone in the dark.
Just a wandering soul,
While we're apart,
I keep you near Cathy...
Close to my heart.
