A little smile from you
Can cure the wounds of a soldier
Who just returned from war in his heart
Defeated by anger and lost from home

A little smile from you
Can tame the beast inside of a man
Who couldn’t understand how his world works
And raised his depression to the level of madness

A little smile from you
Can forgive the sins that lie within hearts
Of people who couldn’t see how wonderful life is
If they would stop being ignorant and pretending to be blind

A little smile from you
Can filter any deliberate effort of assumptions
Filled by immediate prejudices and empty opinions
That created discrimination and biases toward others

A little smile from you
Can make a person or two smile as well
Maybe all the people are just like you
Who need a smile to inspire the day for the better
