A Little Of Me Poem by Pradip Chattopadhyay

A Little Of Me

Rating: 5.0

A little of me I left in mother’s womb
A little I left in her heart
And now that’s gone with her in the tomb
I feel it’s no more my part!
A little of me I planted in dad
A little I left in his eyes
I wonder now if I ever had
What’s gone when he closed his eyes!
A little of me I left in first love
A little I left in her mind
Flew away with time that little dove
With what I’ll never again find!
A disintegrated me is what I’m now
With so many pieces lost on the way
But truly I know, I can avow
A little would survive and stay!

This is nothing short of amazing, it's extraordinary...A piece of you will be left in poetry and would never be lost along the way in the future.

It is a wonderful poem... You have found just the right words... It is a human tendency.. we leave some mark on the people whom we love.. and the day the people leave us the mark is lost.. And we sit wondering what did we loose.. the person or the feeling that was holding us together.. Wonderful write
